Historical Background

The Office of Financial Management is the main unit supporting teaching and learning activities and providing services for students, faculty members, staff and other units including both internal and external organizations. In order to make it appropriate for administration, the management structure has been adjusted in the following order:

1969 - Under the name "Financial Department", it was established together with the establishment of the University. 

1990-1991 - The name was changed from “Financial Affairs” to “Office of Financial Management”       

2003 - On September 15, 2003, the management structure was changed to “Office of Vice President for Financial Affairs” which was directed under the Vice President for Financial Affairs and was divided into 2 offices, and 1 department, namely the Office of Financial Management, and the Office of Inventory Management and the Auditing Department.  

2008 - On December 25, 2008, the name was changed from “Office of Financial Management” to “Office of Financial Management” directly up to the President.

2009 - On January 8, 2009, the Office of Financial Management changed its management structure from 2 departments: 1. Finance Department 2. Accounting and Budgeting Department to 3 departments: 1. Finance Department 2. Accounting Department 3. Budgeting Department.

2020 - On June 1, 2020, there was a change in the administrative structure under the direction of the Vice President for Financial Affairs.

2022 - On June 1, 2022, the Office of Financial Management changed its management structure was changed from directed under the Vice President for Financial Affairs to directly up to the President and changed its management structure from 3 departments: 1. Finance Department 2. Accounting Department 3. Budgeting Department to 2 departments: 1. Accounting Department 2. Finance and Budgeting Department.

At present, the Office of Financial Management is committed and responsible for the administration, providing recommendations and consulting on finance, accounting, and budgeting to achieve the vision, missions, goals, objectives and strategies of the agency to efficiently and effectively make an impression on the service recipients including presenting financial information to the administrators for decision-making in the administration of the university.
